ST VALENTINES DAY .... Musicians Wanted????

... Time for more concerts and shows. The "St. Valentines Days" is coming, and here we go. We are going to scout some locations and restaurants; see if any of them are interested in a really good mood of "Latin Lovers Music"; maybe some of our repertoire of Latin Music, Romantic Ballads, Boleros, can be the answer for those who need a little help to achieve that kiss, or, for the more experimented couple more than that. Music from Los Panchos, Pablo Milanes, Andrea Bocelli, and some more.... it could be a good Idea !!!

Any suggestions???
(We have already a Demo Kit prepare)

The 'aguinaldo' or Christmas offering is based on an old form of Spanish Christmas carol. Aguinaldos are traditional Christmas tunes, many of which are also known in other parts of Latin America. In Puerto Rico, the Christmas season would be the time for what is called PARRANDAS in which a group consisting of family, friends or neighbors would sing and play these Christmas carols, going from house to house in the area, and invited in for food and drink whever they sang. Gradually, these aguinaldos came to be used as vehicles for the improvisation of décimas.
Now about decimas??? para eso estamos luego.

A day in The Museum !!!

Well it was really interested day, with a lot of people. We celebrate the three kings day, and at the same time, and thanks to Centro Las Americas, give a little bit of more emphasis to the exposition for "Mi Puerto Rico".

The event was really good and packed. People not only from Puerto Rico, but everybody. Thanks to the Worcester Art Museum for the invitation.

Here are some words from Katrina at WAM:

" Dear Pueblo Nuevo Band
(Paulo, Jose, and Jonathan)

Thank you so much for your beautiful performance at this month’s 3 Kings Day celebration, which took place on January 6th, 2007, at the Worcester Art Museum. This was a wonderfully attended event. The final count (for the entire day) was 659. It was obvious to me that your music was extremely popular as well. Many people came up to me to tell me how much they enjoyed your performance, and the audience was obviously thrilled, as evidenced by their dancing and calls for an encore! I have since passed along your contact information to other organizations in the hopes that you might perform for them as well.

Your professionalism and talent helped make our day a huge success, and for that, we are extremely grateful. I sincerely hope that we can work together again in the future.

All the Best,
Katrina A. Stacy
